Job Description
· Blundon’s Trucking and Excavating Ltd. is seeking a Mobile Crusher Spread Labourer immediately.
· This will be at the Valentine Gold Mine.
· Rotational shift (14x14) with camp accommodations provided
Qualifications & Abilities
· Completion of High School diploma or equivalent is a requirement
· Previous experience in crushing, aggregate, or heavy construction preferred
· Mechanical aptitude and basic tool knowledge
· Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in physically demanding environments
· Valid Class 5 driver’s license
· Work outdoors in all weather conditions
· Current Drivers and Criminal record check abstract required
· Must pass Medical and Drug/Alcohol Test.
· Willingness to adhere to both workplace & site-specific procedures and policies
· Must be able to work unsupervised
Duties and Responsibilities
· Assist with daily setup and teardown of mobile crusher spread equipment
· Perform routine inspections and maintenance (cleaning, lubricating, checking wear parts)
· Operate small equipment and tools (e.g. skid steer, loader, power tools) when required
· Load and unload materials as directed
· Maintain a clean and organized work area
· Perform daily maintenance and safety checks
· Must be well versed in construction site protocols, rules and code of conduct
· Comply with all safety policies and procedures
· Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers and supervisors to ensure that projects are completed properly
