We are a high‑volume machining facility supplying precision automotive components to Tier 1 customers. Our operation focuses on efficiency, consistency, and meeting demanding automotive quality standards. We are currently seeking a Quality Inspector who thrives in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment and takes pride in accuracy and attention to detail.Key Responsibilities
- Perform in‑process, final, and incoming inspections on machined automotive parts
- Inspect components using precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, height gauges, and CMM reports
- Verify parts against engineering drawings, GD&T, and control plans
- Document inspection results and complete quality records accurately and on time
- Identify non‑conforming product, initiate containment, and support corrective actions
- Work closely with Production and Engineering to resolve quality issues
- Support internal and customer quality requirements, including PPAP and audits (as required)
- Maintain a clean and organized inspection area and follow all safety procedures
Qualifications & Requirements
- 2+ years experience as a Quality Inspector in a machining or automotive manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of GD&T and blueprint reading (required)
- Experience in high‑volume production environments
- Proficient with hand measuring tools; CMM experience is an asset
- Familiar with automotive quality systems such as IATF 16949, SPC, MSA, or PPAP (asset)
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently
- Comfortable working shifts and overtime as required
