As a building commissioning service provider we are Looking for HVAC TAB and Hydronic technicians in the Great Toronto Area.
Perform Testing, Adjusting and Balance (TAB) on commercial HVAC systems using specialized testing equipment and balancing procedures.
Basic knowledge of residential and commercial HVAC systems recommended. We will train as necessary.
The candidate requires physical activity such as frequent walking, climbing ladders, holding and carrying testing equipment and/or working on roofs at various times during winter or summer conditions.
Basic testing procedure requirements include, but are not limited to:
- Flow-rate assessment calculating and measuring airflow volumes, and velocities
- Reading and evaluating air and water pressures
- HVAC hot water/chilled water system balancing (includes the geothermal, heat pump and cooling tower systems)
- Basic algebra skills
- Diagnose and troubleshooting skills
The final goal of our work is to do an assessment airflow and cooling/heating water flow per the mechanical design documents and submit a certified report to the owner or contractor.
Requires travel throughout GTA.
High School diploma or greater required.

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
