Procom is searching for a Business Analyst - Operation Enhancements for a 12-month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Calgary or Edmonton office.
Business Analyst - Operation Enhancements - Job Description:
Seeking a Business Analyst to support an Operations Enhancements initiative focused on strategic improvements to operational processes. The role involves driving efficiency and growth by bridging business objectives with technical execution, emphasizing the successful implementation of enhancements.
Business Analyst - Operation Enhancements - Responsibilities:
- Act as the liaison between the business and technical teams to ensure alignment with long-term goals.
- Conduct root cause analyses and map current and future state processes.
- Facilitate workshops and working sessions with SMEs, IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Lead the elicitation and documentation of business and functional requirements.
- Develop and maintain requirements artifacts, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Collaborate with technical teams to align solution design and support UAT.
- Contribute to BA governance standards and continuous improvement practices.
Business Analyst - Operation Enhancements - Mandatory Skills:
- Minimum 5+ years of Business Analysis experience across complex projects.
- Proven delivery experience in ERP Implementations.
- Hybrid Delivery experience.
- BRD Development and RTM Management in JIRA, Confluence.
- Process modeling (BPMN 2.0).
- Experience with Maximo Application Suite, Oracle Field Service, and UPDM.
Business Analyst - Operation Enhancements – Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience in the Natural Gas Utility, infrastructure, or energy sectors.
- Exposure to geo-spatial and asset management systems and integration.
- Change Management/transformation models.
- CBAP certification is an asset.
Business Analyst - Operation Enhancements – Assignment Length:
This is a 12-month contract position.
Business Analyst - Operation Enhancements - Assignment Location:
Calgary or Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. This is a hybrid position requiring a minimum of 3 days in-office.
