Job Overview
We are seeking a caring and responsible Private Nanny to provide attentive childcare and support within a family’s home. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to fostering a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children of various ages. This role requires a compassionate individual with strong caregiving skills, the ability to manage daily routines, and a genuine passion for working with children. The Private Nanny will also assist with light household tasks to ensure a clean and organized living space.
Duties
- Provide attentive supervision and care for children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to children's dietary needs, including meal planning and cooking
- Engage children in educational activities, play, and teaching to promote development and learning
- Assist with daily routines such as dressing, bathing, homework help, and bedtime preparations
- Perform light housekeeping tasks related to children, including cleaning toys, laundry, and maintaining an organized environment
- Support children with activities involving arts and crafts, reading, and outdoor play
- Work with children who have special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing appropriate care
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding children's progress, needs, and any concerns
Requirements
- Prior experience working with children in a caregiving or nanny role is preferred
- Ability to cook healthy meals and perform meal preparation for children
- Strong caregiving skills with patience, compassion, and reliability
- Ability to perform cleaning duties
- Excellent teaching skills to support children's educational development
- Valid background check and ability to pass any necessary screening processes
- Flexibility to work according to the family's schedule; may include occasional evenings or weekends as needed
- A genuine love for working with children and a commitment to their safety and happiness
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
