Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal functioning of our facilities through routine maintenance and repairs. Your expertise will contribute to a safe and efficient working environment, enhancing the overall productivity of our operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, electrical, plumbing & HVAC skills, plus computer experience with a Management System program.
Responsibilities
· Perform routine inspections and maintenance on facility equipment and systems, including, machinery, electrical systems, HVAC units, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair issues related equipment & tools
- Fabricate and modify components as necessary to ensure proper functionality of equipment.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
- Assist in the training of new staff on equipment operation and safety procedures.
Experience
· Minimum 2 years of experience in general building and equipment maintenance
- Strong working knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment servicing, and preventive maintenance practices
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and repair techniques for equipment
- Familiarity with basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry tasks
- Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and technical documentation
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Capable of working independently or as part of a team
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various physical positions
