Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, assist in maintaining a clean and efficient clinical environment, and support the overall operations of our office. This role offers an opportunity to work in a friendly, professional setting focused on delivering high-quality dental services to patients of all ages. The position requires a licensed Dental Hygienist with experience in dental hygiene procedures and patient education.
Duties
- Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup
- Complete periodontal assessments, probing, charting, oral cancer screening, and medical history reviews.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and preventive care
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records using ABELDent or similar dental management software
- Manage sterilization of dental instruments and ensure infection control protocols are followed
- Support pediatric patients with gentle care and effective communication
- Bilingual communication skills to serve diverse patient populations are a plus
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth daily operations
Skills
- Proficiency in ABELDent or other dental practice management software
- Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, and general dentistry procedures
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages
- Experience in dental assisting is advantageous but not required
- Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to dentistry
- Bilingual abilities to enhance patient communication are preferred
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and a compassionate approach to patient care

Pay: $45.00-$55.00 per hour
