Water Babies Background
Founded in the UK, Water Babies is the world’s largest, most professional baby and toddler-swimming franchise business teaching over 45,000 babies and toddlers (Ages 0-5, our youngest client was just 1 day old!) per week through an international network of 70+ franchise outlets across the UK, Ireland, Netherlands, USA and Canada.
We are looking for someone who is available to teach 8 to 15 hours a week, ideally with access to a car.
We have pools in Downtown Toronto and Scarborough, but are also looking to open a location in Etobicoke.
This highly rewarding role involves teaching both babies and toddlers how to swim using our highly specialized program and teaching methods. Our ideal candidate loves babies and toddlers, the water and in teaching for life. Plenty of enthusiasm, reliability and flexibility are also essential qualities.
Don't worry if you are currently not a certified swim instructor, we will help guide you through the process if you are the right fit. This role would be subject to successful completion of our world-class teacher training, which includes a 5-day residential course delivered by our amazing senior tutors (where you will spend time away from home, accommodations covered by Water Babies), plus a supported online learning package and a schedule of mentored and assessed practical teaching with your local Water Babies team. We’ll be with you through every step of your journey.
We are looking for committed people that want to be a part of something bigger than themselves. Compensation includes retention bonuses to reflect this.
