POSITION OVERVIEW
As a Line Cook at GRETA, you will be an integral part of our culinary team, responsible for preparing and cooking delicious dishes to ensure a memorable dining experience for our guests. In this role, you will work collaboratively with our kitchen staff to execute menu items efficiently while maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience as a line cook or prep cook in a restaurant or similar food service establishment
- Knowledge of cooking techniques, food safety standards, and kitchen equipment operation
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and management
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Capable of lifting objects weighing up to 50 pounds
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with other kitchen team members to ensure smooth and efficient operation during peak hours.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and guidelines
- Maintain excellent food execution and food safety compliance
- Follow the opening and closing procedures and checklists to keep kitchen running smoothly
- Work as a team to keep a clean and sanitary work area
- Respond to customer preferences and complaints
