Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service, a strong knowledge of food and beverage preparation, and experience in fast-paced restaurant environments. As a key member of our team, you will craft drinks, serve customers, and ensure a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. This role requires excellent time management, food safety awareness, and the ability to handle cash transactions accurately. Previous experience with POS systems such as Micros POS is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in accordance with company standards and recipes
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner to enhance their dining experience
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
- Manage multiple drink orders efficiently during busy periods while maintaining quality and presentation
- Restock bar supplies as needed and assist with inventory management
- Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service policies
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and giving correct change
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow and guest satisfaction
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or food service experience, especially in bartending or serving roles
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally
- Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices
- Basic math skills for cash handling and bill splitting
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience in the food industry or hospitality sector is preferred but not required
- Must be at least 21 years old (if applicable by local regulations)
