Job Summary
Ionian Hospitality is seeking an experienced and dynamic Manager to lead our team in delivering exceptional food and hospitality services at Sopra Sotto Commercial Drive. The ideal candidate will oversee daily operations, ensure high standards of food safety and customer satisfaction, and foster a positive team environment. This role requires strong leadership skills, extensive restaurant management experience, and a passion for the food industry. The Manager will be responsible for maintaining efficient service, managing staff, and ensuring the overall success of the establishment.
Duties
- Supervise daily restaurant operations
- Oversee team management, including interviewing, hiring, training, and evaluating staff members
- Manage POS systems for accurate cash handling and transaction processing
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and proper kitchen procedures
- Lead food service operations, maintaining high-quality customer service and hospitality standards
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction
- Implement training programs focused on food safety, food handling, and service excellence
- Maintain a clean, organized work environment in accordance with health regulations
Experience
- Proven supervising experience in restaurant or food service management
- Restaurant management background with a focus on hospitality excellence
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations
- Experience with POS systems such as TOAST POS or similar platforms
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating positive guest experiences
- Familiarity with the food industry trends and restaurant operations management
