Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and organized Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for patients, manage appointment scheduling, and handle administrative tasks efficiently. This role requires excellent communication skills, familiarity with dental and medical terminology, and experience with dental software such as Tracker. The Dental Receptionist plays a vital role in ensuring smooth daily operations and providing exceptional patient service.
Duties
- Greet patients warmly and professionally at the front desk
- Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments using tracker or similar software
- Manage multi-line phone systems to answer inquiries and direct calls appropriately
- Verify patient insurance information and update electronic medical and dental records accurately
- Collect payments and process billing transactions in compliance with office procedures
- Maintain organized patient files and ensure confidentiality of medical information
- Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and correspondence
- Coordinate with dental staff to ensure timely patient flow and efficient office operations
- Handle patient check-in/check-out processes with professionalism and courtesy
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a dental office setting mandatory
- Proficiency with electronic health records software such as tracker is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dental practice
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multi-line phone systems effectively
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
- Office experience including front desk responsibilities is required
- Familiarity with medical office procedures and administrative tasks is a plus
- Hindi speaking is mandatory.
