Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyman Carpenter to join our construction and renovation team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various carpentry disciplines, including blueprint reading, concrete forming, restoration, and cabinetry. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects ranging from residential to commercial buildings, utilizing a wide array of tools and techniques. The successful applicant will demonstrate proficiency in construction estimating, heavy lifting, and working with schematics, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards.
Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to execute projects accurately
- Construct, install, repair, and restore structures using hand and power tools
- Perform concrete forming, rebar installation, and pouring
- Install cabinetry, countertops, plumbing fixtures, electrical components (with appropriate experience), and perform construction painting and caulking
- Assist with framing, drywall installation, insulation, siding application, and other general carpentry tasks
- Conduct demolition and site cleanup as needed while maintaining safety protocols
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Journeyman Carpenter or in a similar construction role with a comprehensive skill set in carpentry disciplines
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and schematics
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and woodworking equipment
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently on job sites
- Handyman experience or electrical/plumbing knowledge is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Valid driver’s license preferred for site travel
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various environmental conditions

Pay: $28.00-$38.00 per hour
