General Labourer – Temporary/Casual
About Our Client
Our client has a project located in Truro, NS at a well-known store. They need employees to help get the store ready with all fixtures in place and cleaning. If you have experience with any sort of general labour, hand tools an asset, we want to hear from you!
What You Will Be Doing, as a General Labourer:
· Moving store fixtures (by hand or will dollies/equipment)
· Building new fixtures (use of small hand tools like screw drivers, hammers – possible)
· Unloading trucks and boxes of fixtures and their hardware.
· Throwing out and cleaning up any fixtures that are no longer required or damaged.
· Ensure the workplace is a safe and clean work environment.
What You Should Have, as a General Labourer:
· 1 year general labour type experience.
· Exceptional attention to detail.
· Excellent problem-solving skills.
· Strong ability to work independently and in a team environment.
· Positive attitude respectful and friendly communication, and a team player
· Strong organizational skills including effective prioritization.
· Ability to lift 50+ lbs.
· Must have CSA safety shoes/boots and work gloves.
In Return, You Will Receive:
· $18.00 per hour, plus 4% vacation pay accrued and paid out when requested
· Access to a Vertical Representative Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm
The Shift You Will be Working is:
· Days, afternoons and nights available (as the projects change)
· Monday to Friday
