Calgary Progressive Lifestyles Foundation (CPLF) is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Supportive Roommate to join our team. Qualifications & Requirements
- Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening, completed within the past two years
- Compassionate, patient, and supportive approach to working with others
- Previous experience supporting individuals with disabilities is an asset
- Valid Class 5 driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
- Successful candidates must provide proof of $2 million in third-party liability vehicle insurance
- Valid Standard First Aid with CPR Level C certification (required within three months of hire)
- Successful candidates must obtain General Commercial Liability Insurance
Training
Training in the following areas is available at the applicant's expense:
- Medication Administration
- Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI)
- Abuse Protocol
- Positive Behaviour Support (PBS)
