Job Summary
We are currently seeking a Field Administrator to support our construction operations by managing day-to-day administrative functions at the project site. This role is critical in ensuring accurate documentation, timely reporting, and effective communication between the field, office, clients, and subcontractors.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced construction environment.
Duties
- Provide on-site administrative support to Superintendents, Foremen, and Project Management
- Daily reports and field logs
- Crew timesheets and labour hours (entered and tracked in Aimsio)
- Equipment, trucking, and subcontractor tickets
- Material tracking and delivery records
- Coordinate communication between field crews, office staff, clients, and subcontractors
- Assist with safety documentation and compliance (orientations, FLHAs, tailgate meetings)
- Support cost tracking, reporting, and administrative tasks as required
- Other administrative duties as assigned to support project execution
Requirements
- Previous experience in field administration or construction administration preferred
- Experience in oil & gas, pipeline, or facility construction preferred
- Experience using Aimsio for time entry, ticket management, or cost tracking preferred
- Proficiency with Google Drive for document storage, organization, and sharing
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Gmail)
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced field environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
