Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Vineyard Worker to join our team in maintaining and cultivating our vineyard. This role involves hands-on work in grapevine care, equipment operation, and general farm maintenance to ensure high-quality grape production. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, physical stamina, and an interest in horticulture and farm operations. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in vineyard management while contributing to the success of our winery operations.
Responsibilities
- Perform vineyard maintenance tasks including pruning, trellising, and canopy management
- Assist with planting, transplanting, and harvesting grapes as needed
- Operate farm machinery and power tools safely and efficiently
- Conduct irrigation system setup, monitoring, and repairs to ensure proper water distribution
- Use hand tools for various tasks such as trimming, tying, and supporting vines
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas and equipment to promote safety and efficiency
- Assist with pest control measures and disease management practices
- Support general farm maintenance including equipment repairs and infrastructure upkeep
- Follow safety protocols at all times during heavy lifting or operation of heavy equipment
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting farm machinery and power tools
- Experience with irrigation systems and horticulture practices
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and effectively
- Familiarity with farm machinery, hand tools, and maintenance procedures
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and record keeping
- Physical strength for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of manual labor
- Strong attention to safety procedures when handling heavy equipment or performing maintenance tasks
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions with a positive attitude

Pay: $18.25-$20.00 per hour
