About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and resourceful Operations Assistant to support the growth of our online retail business across Canada and the United States. This is a flexible part-time role ideal for someone with experience in eCommerce, administration, or business operations.
The successful candidate will assist with developing sales channels, supporting marketing initiatives, and supporting cross-border business operations.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Channel Development
- Research and assist in establishing new online sales channels in Canada and the U.S.
- Support marketplace onboarding and account setup.
- Identify opportunities to expand product distribution and sales partnerships.
- Support social media, email marketing, and online advertising activities as required.
Administration & Operations
- Research and establish relationships with suppliers & partners.
- Assist with cross-border logistics coordination.
- Support business registration, account setup, and operational compliance requirements.
- Assist with U.S. business operations.
- Travel to the United States when required for meetings, supplier visits, or business development activities.
RequirementsEssential
- Experience in eCommerce, administration, operations.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Comfortable researching and building relationships with suppliers and service providers.
- Legally able to travel freely to the United States (e.g., Canadian/U.S. dual citizen, U.S. work authorization, or unrestricted business travel eligibility).
Preferred
- Experience with online marketplaces.
- Experience with administration & business operations.
- Existing network or connections within the U.S.
Pay: $24.00-$30.00 per hour
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
Experience:
- E-commerce: 1 year (preferred)
