Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Processing Worker / Vegetable Cutter to join our food manufacturing team immediately. This role involves preparing fresh vegetables for packaging and distribution, ensuring high standards of food safety and sanitation. The ideal candidate will have experience or interest in food processing, with a focus on quality and efficiency in a fast-paced environment. Duties
- Cut, peel, and prepare vegetables according to specified standards and safety guidelines
- Operate food processing equipment safely and efficiently
- Package finished products accurately for shipment
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work stations in compliance with food safety regulations
- Assist with quality control checks to ensure product consistency and quality
- Follow all safety protocols related to meat cutting, sanitation, and mechanical operation
- Support the team in meeting production targets while adhering to food safety standards
Requirements
- Prior experience or familiarity with food processing, packaging, or manufacturing preferred
- Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation procedures
- Basic understanding of butchery, meat cutting, or vegetable preparation is a plus
- Mechanical knowledge is advantageous for operating and troubleshooting equipment
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong commitment to cleanliness, safety, and quality standards
- Ability to work immediately and adapt to flexible shifts as needed
