Role Description
We are seeking an Automotive Diagnostic Technician/Team Leader (Preferred EV Certified or trained) for a full-time, on-site role located in Coquitlam, BC. The selected candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing regular/EV vehicles, mentoring and helping younger technicians in diagnostics.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostics to identify mechanical and electrical issues.
- Perform repair and maintenance tasks to the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Utilize the latest automotive technologies and diagnostic tools.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to apprentice technicians, enhancing the overall skill level of the team.
- Adhere to all company policies, standards, and procedures, including safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with the service team and customers, ensuring transparency and satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Red Seal Automotive Service Technician certification is required.
- Proven experience as an Automotive Technician, with a strong track record of high-quality workmanship.
- In-depth knowledge of modern automotive technologies and diagnostic tools.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
