Motorsports Parts & Service Advisor

Yellowhead Rec is hiring a Motorsports Parts & Service Advisor to join our parts and service team as soon as possible.
This is a hands-on dealership role for someone who enjoys motorsports, recreation equipment, customer service, and staying busy. You will help customers at the parts and service counter, support technicians with parts needs, assist with work orders, and help keep inventory organized.
We are looking for someone reliable, organized, and mechanically minded who can work well with customers, technicians, and the rest of the dealership team.
What You’ll Do
- Assist customers at the parts and service counter
- Answer phone and in-person inquiries for parts, accessories, and service needs
- Look up parts, place orders, receive inventory, and help manage stock
- Support technicians by sourcing and supplying parts for repair orders
- Help create, update, and close service work orders
- Communicate with customers about parts availability, service status, and timelines
- Receive shipments, organize shelves, label parts, and keep the parts area clean
- Help track backorders, returns, warranty-related parts, and special orders
- Maintain accurate records in dealership systems
- Support the service and parts departments wherever needed during busy periods
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a parts, service, dealership, automotive, powersports, recreation, agriculture, or mechanical environment is preferred
- Strong customer service skills and a professional attitude
- Basic mechanical knowledge or a genuine interest in motorsports and recreational equipment
- Comfortable using computers, parts lookup systems, and inventory software
- Organized, dependable, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills with customers, suppliers, technicians, and team members
- Able to lift, move, and organize parts as required
- Valid driver’s license preferred
- Forklift or warehouse experience is an asset but not required

Pay: $19.25-$23.75 per hour
