Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. This role involves operating various types of forklifts, including clamp trucks and order pickers, to efficiently manage inventory and facilitate order fulfillment. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, familiarity with warehouse management systems, and the ability to perform heavy lifting safely. This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment, supporting distribution operations and ensuring smooth logistics flow.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, including clamp trucks and order pickers, to move materials and products within the warehouse
- Safely load and unload goods from trucks and storage areas
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders accurately using warehouse management systems
- Operate air impact, hydraulic valver, hand ratchet and other tools
- Do other duties as assigned
- Heavy lifting involved
Requirements
- Valid forklift operator certification with experience operating various types of forklifts, including clamp trucks and order pickers
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to forklift operation and maintenance
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) is preferred
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and order accuracy
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Prior experience in warehouse distribution or logistics is a plus
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and handle manual tasks effectively
Pay: $30.00 per hour
