SUMMARY OF POSITION
Welder (TIG)
Journeyman or Apprentice
Number of hires needed: 1-2
Regular Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
In this position, you will be welding various sheet metal parts, focusing heavily on electrical enclosures (UL50E). TIG welding is the primary welding done and extensive experience is required.
Duties:
- TIG welding various assemblies
- Communicating with management and team
- Comply with all safety requirements, work rules, and regulations
- Maintaining a clean, organized tools/station
Allied will be offering full benefits after successful completion of a 3-month probationary period, and an hourly rate of $35 an hour (Dependent on journeyman welding certification).
Ideal Candidates will Have:
- 1 year GTAW/TIG welding experience
- Proof of apprenticeship enrollment or certification - required
- Ability to learn and adhere to procedures quickly
- Reliable transportation
- A Detail-oriented mindset
- A positive attitude and work ethic
- Ability to interpret detailed shop drawings, artistic renderings, and conceptual drawings
