Most irrigation roles end in October. This one doesn't.
We're hiring an Irrigation Technician in Kamloops, BC - a year-round role where you'll install and maintain residential and commercial systems through the season, then move into snow operations when the ground freezes. No layoffs, no scrambling for winter work.
What your days look like
- Installing complete residential and commercial irrigation systems
- Maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting existing systems
- Handling spring startups and fall blowouts
- Spotting inefficiencies and recommending improvements to clients
- Snow removal operations in winter
What we're looking for
- 4+ years installing irrigation- residential and commercial
- Strong working knowledge of poly and PVC piping
- Able to read irrigation plans and execute them properly
- Good problem-solver- systems don't always behave the way the plan says they will
- Class 5 driver's licence with a clean abstract; comfortable driving a truck and enclosed trailer
- CIT Level 1 preferred; HDP certification or IIABC Certified Irrigation Design an asset
