Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Night Auditor to join our hospitality team. The Night Auditor plays a vital role in ensuring smooth overnight operations, providing exceptional guest services, and maintaining the security and accuracy of hotel records. Duties
- Perform nightly audit procedures to verify and balance hotel financial transactions.
- Greet guests arriving during overnight hours with professionalism and courtesy.
- Handle guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently while providing excellent customer service.
- Manage multi-line phone systems to respond to guest inquiries and internal communications.
- Maintain accurate records of reservations, billing, and other administrative tasks.
- Address guest concerns promptly and escalate issues when necessary to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Ensure the safety and security of the hotel premises during overnight hours.
- Prepare reports for management regarding occupancy, revenue, and other operational metrics.
- Assist with administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and correspondence as needed.
Experience
- Previous experience in front desk operations or hotel front office is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of hospitality standards and guest services.
- Multilingual or bilingual skills are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse guests.
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills are essential.
- Experience working with multi-line phone systems is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with hotel management software or property management systems is advantageous.
- Prior experience working night shifts in a hospitality setting is preferred but not required.
