Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Civil Construction Foreman to lead and supervise our construction sites. In this role, you will coordinate daily operations, manage teams, ensure safety compliance, and oversee project progress to meet deadlines and quality standards. Your expertise in construction management and site supervision will drive project success from start to finish.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise construction crews, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely
- Taking data from Project Managers and implementing them in the field
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans accurately
- Monitor quality control measures to ensure work meets industry standards and specifications
- Manage project budgets, track expenses, and assist with construction estimating
- Enforce WorksafeBC's safety regulations and conduct regular safety meetings on-site
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of materials and services
Qualifications
- Proven supervising experience in heavy civil or general construction projects
- Must be able to perform under pressure to meet project deadlines
- Demonstrate an ability to self motivate and others
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics
- Capable of working in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment and be results orientated
- Knowledge of WorksafeBC's safety standards and best practices in construction management
- Excellent management skills with the ability to lead teams effectively and ensure quality control
- Valid Drivers License
- 5 years Civil Construction Foreman experience is preferred but not necessarily required.

Pay: $34.00-$43.00 per hour
