Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Welder/Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components using various techniques and tools. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, blueprint reading, and safety protocols to ensure high-quality workmanship in a fast-paced environment. The position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects including ductwork, structural steel, and custom fabrications, contributing to the success of our manufacturing operations.
Duties
- Perform MIG and TIG welding on various metal materials according to detailed blueprints and schematics
- Fabricate components using plasma cutting, press brake machines, hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly
- Operate cranes, forklifts, and rigging equipment safely to move heavy materials and assemblies
- Measure dimensions precisely using calipers and other measuring tools to meet specifications
- Assemble fabricated parts into finished products or subassemblies following detailed instructions
- Conduct quality inspections of welds and fabricated components to ensure compliance with standards
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and proper equipment handling
- Assist in troubleshooting mechanical issues related to fabrication equipment or processes as needed
Skills
- Proficiency in MIG welding, TIG welding, plasma cutting, and general welding techniques
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in machining, assembly, and ductwork fabrication
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Experience operating press brake machines, power tools, hand tools, cranes, forklifts, and rigging equipment
- Knowledge of basic math skills necessary for measurements and calculations in fabrication tasks
- Familiarity with schematics related to manufacturing or construction projects
- Ability to work with calipers and other precision measuring instruments
- Understanding of safety procedures related to welding, rigging, crane operation, and general manufacturing environments
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on quality workmanship in a manufacturing setting

Pay: $20.00-$32.00 per hour
