Duties
- Safely operate a taxi vehicle to transport passengers to their destinations promptly and comfortably
- Greet passengers courteously and assist with boarding and luggage as needed
- Follow designated routes or navigate using GPS to ensure timely arrivals
- Handle cash transactions accurately and provide receipts when necessary
- Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of the vehicle to ensure safety and comfort
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies at all times
- Manage scheduling efficiently to maximize service availability during assigned shifts
- Communicate effectively with dispatch or customers regarding pick-up locations or delays
Experience
- Valid class 4 driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Prior experience in driving, especially commercial or taxi driving, is preferred but not required; training will be provided if necessary
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse passengers
- Excellent time management skills to ensure punctuality and efficient route planning
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly
- Knowledge of local streets, landmarks, and traffic patterns is advantageous but not mandatory

Pay: $16.75-$35.00 per hour
