About the role:
In this role, you will support financial reporting, analysis, and compliance activities by preparing reports, evaluating financial data, and ensuring the accuracy of key business and regulatory reporting. You will also provide system and process support for servicing platforms, assist with audit and tax requirements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain operational and financial controls.
In this role you will:
Routine Reporting and Analysis (40%)
Analyze basic financial information, including trends and forecasts.
Prepare reports based on analysis and historical information.
Assist in resolving reconciliations as needed.
Performs monthly audits on various reports used by Finance for reporting purposes.SERVICING SYSTEM ANALYSIS, SUPPORT AND REPORTING (25%)
Support Canadian AutoSuite defect management.
Support Canadian AutoSuite enhancement and process development management.
Routine and non-routine reporting and analysis based on AutoSuite transactions and processing.AUDIT, TAX AND REPORTING COMPLIANCE (25%)
Document compliance with company policies, procedures and controls (EUCA).
Assist in Sales Tax compliance and documentation
Assist in monthly preparation of schedules for Statistics Canada.
Assist in quarterly SOX testing.
Assist in quarterly / annual preparation of Income Tax schedules.MISCELLANEOUS (10% ) Act as liaison with other GM Financial departments and provide support as necessary.
Comply with all company policies and procedures.

- Basic knowledge of Accounting.
- Knowledge of financial analysis.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of AutoSuite (Auto Finance & Default Manager).
- Knowledge of Oracle ERP.
- Possess time management skills.
- Mathematical ability to calculate payments and reconcile payment postings.
- Ability to work with all levels of management through daily interface and formal presentation.
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.

Additional Knowledge and Skills
Working effectively within an AI enabled environment:
- Ability to use AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot) to support daily work.
- Skills in evaluating AI outputs for accuracy, compliance, and bias.
- Experience integrating AI into workflows to improve efficiency or insights.
- Familiarity with AI assisted research, summarization, and content generation.
Understanding of responsible AI use, including ethics and data protection.

Education & Work Experience
- Secondary School required.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance preferred.
- Enrolled in, or completion of, CPA Program preferred.
1-2 years accounting experience in a or related field preferred.

The base range for this role is: $45,000-$75,000.

This role is eligible to participate in a performance-based incentive plan. Full time employees are eligible to participate in health benefits after 30 days of employment.
