Job Summary
Reporting to the Terminal Manager, the Class 1 P&D Driver provides daily pick-up and delivery service to/from our Terrace facility and local region. This role may require physical labour, including using a manual pallet jack.
Shift
Monday to Friday; 05:00-14:30 with frequent overtime

Key Responsibilities
- Pre-trips equipment daily and reports per company requirements
- Communicates with dispatch to ensure efficient route planning
- Communicates with clients on site to ensure delivery services meets or exceeds expectations
- Pick up and delivery of freight in an efficient and safe manner
- Reports road incidents to the Dispatcher
- Maintains a positive attitude with customers/clients
Qualification Requirements:
- Professional attitude when interacting with customers and coworkers
- Experience owning, operating, and maintaining a commercial vehicle to DOT safety regulations
- Current Class 1 Driver’s license with clean COMMERCIAL driver’s abstract
- Basic geographical knowledge of Terrace, Smithers, Kitimat and Prince Rupert areas
- Ability to lift freight up to 50 lbs.
- Available to work full time Monday - Friday
