Duration: June 22 – August 31, 2026
Wage: $16.50 + $1.50 grat/hour
Location: MacEwan Conference & Event Centre, University of Calgary Campus
What You’ll Do:
- Operate dishwashing equipment to clean dishes, pots, pans, and glasses efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and work areas — sweeping, mopping, garbage removal, and recycling
- Assist cooks with minor food prep during slower periods
- Ensure tools and equipment meet sanitation standards
- Participate in staff meetings to stay informed about procedures and safety
- Report any health, safety, or equipment issues to management
- Help create a positive and professional work environment with your teammates
What We’re Looking For:
- Outgoing, self-motivated team player with a passion for the culinary environment
- Previous experience in a high-volume food & beverage setting preferred, but not required
- Flexibility to work both day and evening shifts
- Ability to stand, walk, lift (10-50 lbs), and push/pull (10-80 lbs) regularly throughout your shift
- High school education; hospitality or university setting experience is a plus
