Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will counsel patients about their options for medical and surgical abortions as well as IUD insertions. The nurse will also assist the doctor in the OR or post-op. This role requires a background in women's health, patient care, and experience working in a medical environment. The nurse will collaborate with other nurses and doctors to ensure comprehensive care for our patients.
Duties
- Assess patients in the Clinic. Assist the doctor in the OR and post-OP room.
- Explain the procedure and answer all questions from patients.
- Provide patients with IUD insertion/removal and contraceptive advice.
- Counsel patients before the procedure.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) or Practical Nurse in Ontario.
- Experience working in a medical clinic or doctor's office.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and research initiatives.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour
