Key Responsibilities:
Brand, Retail and Go to Market Support

Support the Western Region Marketing Managers in translating national brand and campaign strategies into regional retail execution plans.

Partner with national brand teams to understand marketing priorities, campaign strategy, key messages, content availability, and legal disclaimer development

Develop dealer & field communications that support go-to-market strategies, retail program awareness and brand consistency across the Region.

Manage agency relationships by leading day-to-day communications, sharing strategic direction, and contributing to the development of regional and Retail briefs.
Marketing Performance, Insights and Reporting

Support sales reporting, performance analysis and field communications that inform regional marketing and brand decisions.

Develop and maintain reports related to inventory, sales performance, budget utilization, program tracking and campaign performance.

Complete ad hoc sales and marketing analyses, reports and special projects as required, turning data into clear insights and recommendations for the Regional
Marketing Managers and leadership.

Present to field teams on marketing initiatives, program performance and budget utilization, highlighting brand and retail impacts.

Regional Program & Budget Management, Relationship Management

Manage regional marketing budgets, including Regional Marketing Advertising Boards (RMAB) and Co-Op programs, ensuring investments align to brand priorities and deliver measurable value.

Own regional marketing program guidelines, review claims and partner with Regional Sales District Managers on market strategies and program utilization.

Serve as the primary point of contact between Dealers and the Regional Marketing team, proactively managing all marketing initiatives and inquiries through clear verbal and written communication.

Build strong relationships with RMAB Directors and support the planning and execution of monthly and quarterly RMAB meetings, including attendance tracking, agendas, content development and meeting minute ownership
Dealer, Event and Sponsorship Support

Create presentation materials for dealer and regional meetings covering marketing initiatives, brand campaigns, budgets, inventory and related topics.

Lead the planning and execution of regional meetings, including scheduling, agenda development, logistics, meeting minutes and follow-up actions.

Coordinate sponsorship planning and execution with agency partners and field staff, ensuring activities are aligned with brand positioning and deliver strong visibility in the Western Region.
Project and Stakeholder Management

Lead select projects from initiation to completion based on business priorities and individual development opportunities, with an emphasis on marketing, brand and retail initiatives.

Act as a liaison across sales, service and marketing stakeholders, ensuring consistent messaging and alignment on regional priorities.

Focus on continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to streamline marketing processes, reporting and communications.
Ad Hoc Support

Support day-to-day operations of the Western Region Office by receiving and signing for packages, managing outbound shipments, and serving as the primary point of contact for onsite visitors and facility-related matters

Administer the GM Canada Courtesy Car Program, ensuring program execution reflects our brand standards and customer experience (including sourcing vehicles, detailing, fueling and maintaining the usage and mileage logs).
Qualifications & Education Requirements:
-
Post-secondary degree in Business Administration, Management, Economics, Finance, Marketing, Data Science, Analytics or a related field.

2+ years of experience in Marketing, Communications, Business, Retail or Automotive
-
Valid Class 5 Alberta Driver’s License (with clean abstract), or equivalent out-of-province license required.

Previous Automotive experience, such as co-op or part-time roles, is an asset; a strong interest in the industry is also valued.

In-person role, must be in office Monday – Friday; 8:00AM – 4:30PM

Demonstrates strong accuracy and attention to detail in all reporting, communications and deliverables.

High level of integrity, sound judgment, initiative and comfort working with ambiguity.

Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and PowerBI, with a strong emphasis on Excel for analysis and reporting. Experience with AI tools such as Copilot is an asset.
