Dear Future Partner-in-Care,
Did you drink water from the garden hose as a kid? Or ride your bike until the streetlights came on? Remember hearing “It’s 10pm… do you know where your children are?”
Maybe the clinic you loved was bought by a corporation.
Maybe you’re tired of temping and never quite feeling part of a team.
Or maybe you’re just looking for a place where dentistry still feels like a profession.
We haven’t met yet, but I already know how much I’m going to value you. In the high-speed world of dentistry, a great assistant isn't just a staff member—you are the heartbeat of the operatory.
Here is what I want you to know before we even pick up our first handpiece together:
- I see you. I know that while I’m focused on the procedure, you are the one managing the patient’s nerves, keeping us on schedule, and ensuring a "million little pieces" are exactly where they need to be.
- Your hands are my hands. I’m looking forward to that rhythm we’ll build—the "four-handed" dance where we move in sync without needing to say a word.
- You are the patient's hero. Long before I walk in, you’re the one building the rapport and calming the anxiety that so often walks through our door. You make the difference between a scary appointment and a "pleasurable work environment".
If that resonates, keep reading.
If so, you probably understand something we value in our clinic: showing up prepared, treating people well, showing initiative and taking pride in your work.
We’re a solo-owned private dental practice in Tsawwassen with a relaxed, beachy vibe. Our motto is “For kids and cowards,” which means we see a lot of anxious patients and value assistants who bring calm, kindness, and professionalism to the room.
What Makes Our Clinic Different
- Modern equipment and thoughtful systems
- Isolite used for most procedures
- We run on time and protect lunch breaks
- Predictable scheduling and guaranteed hours
- Stylish scrubs provided
- Extended health benefits for staff
- A respectful, cooperative, drama-free team
What You’ll Do
Chairside assisting, x-rays, prophylaxis, lab procedures, and helping the day run smoothly.
The best assistants here tend to anticipate what’s needed before it’s asked.
