AISTG is seeking a Program Manager This position supports AIS Technologies Group’s customers throughout the life cycle of a project. They will be responsible for building and maintaining a strong relationship with customers. This individual will be accountable for a multitude of things, such as: project kick-offs, risk identification, risk mitigation, projected planning, timelines, project team management, manpower resourcing plans with engineering, customer updates, production planning with manufacturing, monitoring of all project purchases, project problem solving, and identifying additional opportunities from beginning to end of the project life cycle. The individual must be passionate about exceeding customer expectations and work with a sense of urgency to ensure the team goals are met.
DUTIES
- The Automation project manager will provide commercial assistance where necessary to AIS Technologies Group’s sales representatives by performing the following functions:
- Identify opportunities for AIS Technologies Group and provide solutions for the customers
- Where necessary, assist in the development and delivery of proposals to the customer
- Provide customer co-ordination by performing the following functions:
- Develop and maintain project timelines and budgets
- Monitor labor and expenses in relation to milestones to ensure project is on schedule and on budget
- Evaluate and coordinate resource skills required to deliver the project
- Ensure project remains on time and on budget during delivery cycle
- Time to time on-site analysis of equipment and machine specification preparation
- System verification – verification of product application
- Sequence of operation – confirmation with customer with feedback to programming department
- Project co-ordination between customer, sales, manufacturing division, etc
- Technical support: field start-up, installation and maintenance
- Submitting documentation to customer
- Testing and acceptance with the customer and project technical lead
- Provide technical assistance to sales and customer personnel on product applications to include alternatives, recommendations and changes where necessary
- Review of system pre-design and design, programming, system specification development, etc.
- Oversee system field service installation start-up integration, system optimization, maintenance and warranty implementation
- Make recommendations for product improvements and identification of new product opportunities
- Review system training course for customers on the application, operation, adjustment and proper maintenance of system provided
- Provide proper reporting of: technical, administrative and accounting information as required by internal control procedures
- Be available to travel to sites when necessary
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and sales representatives
- Pursue all opportunities to generate revenue for the corporation including: support services, engineering, modifications, remedial training, extra documentation and other support agreements
- Provide feedback concerning safety and liability issues as it relates to: equipment, people, and applications
*QUALIFICATIONS
The following qualifications are the determined minimum requirements for the position:
- Post graduate degree or certificate in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- 5+ years of project management experience
- PMP Certificate is an asset and would be preferred
- Proven experience in project management and project management methodologies of large projects (under $5 Mil)
- Strong PC aptitude and skills, with Microsoft products such as: Office and MS Project, SolidWorks, and others would be an asset
- Must have excellent analytical and communications skills and be able to work in a fast-paced, team environment
- Strong emphasis as a team player that thrives in a cooperative team environment and presents themselves in a polished professional manner
Pay: $60,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
