Supply Chain & Procurement Manager
Position Overview
The Supply Chain & Procurement Manager leads Site Connect’s purchasing, supplier management, material planning, and procurement controls. This role ensures materials, equipment, rentals, and services are sourced competitively, delivered on time, documented accurately, and aligned with project schedules and financial goals.
Working closely with estimating, project management, operations, accounting, and leadership, this position helps protect project margins, improve supplier performance, reduce supply chain risk, and build consistent procurement processes across the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day priorities, performance, and accountability of the supply chain and procurement function.
- Develop purchasing strategies that support project schedules, operational needs, and company growth.
- Oversee sourcing and purchasing of materials, equipment, tools, rentals, and subcontracted services.
- Coordinate material planning with estimating, project management, field operations, and accounting.
- Monitor long-lead items, shortages, substitutions, delivery risks, and critical procurement requirements.
- Build and manage strong supplier relationships, including vendor selection, onboarding, performance reviews, and issue resolution.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, lead times, freight, warranties, rebates, and service expectations.
- Protect project margins through competitive sourcing, cost analysis, accurate purchasing, and supplier negotiation.
- Review purchase orders, committed costs, pricing variances, credits, and procurement-related risks.
- Develop standardized purchasing procedures, approval workflows, checklists, reporting tools, and supplier standards.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier documentation, warranties, certifications, and approvals.
- Provide timely updates on purchasing status, supplier commitments, delivery timelines, and unresolved issues.
- Identify opportunities to improve cost control, purchasing accuracy, delivery performance, and internal service.
Skills & Qualifications
- Leadership experience in procurement, supply chain, construction operations, electrical contracting, distribution, or a related environment.
- Strong knowledge of purchasing, supplier management, material planning, logistics, and cost control.
- Proven ability to negotiate pricing, terms, and supplier agreements.
- Strong business judgment with an understanding of project margins, schedules, cash flow, and operational risk.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and strong follow-through on purchase orders, approvals, credits, and open items.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, project-based environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, spreadsheets, PDF tools, and project or purchasing systems.
- Experience with Procore, Odoo, QuickBooks, or similar systems is considered an asset.
- Post-secondary education or professional training in supply chain, procurement, business, construction, or operations is considered an asset.

- Procurement activities contribute to stronger cost control, margin protection, and operational efficiency.
Pay: From $80,000.00 per year
