Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Artisan Baker to join our culinary team. Duties
- Prepare and bake a variety of baked goods, including bread, pastries, and specialty items, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Decorate cakes and desserts with precision, creativity, and attention to detail to meet customer specifications.
- Handle food safely by following proper food handling and safety protocols at all times.
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as measuring ingredients, mixing doughs, and assembling baked items.
- Package baked goods attractively for retail display or wholesale orders, maintaining presentation standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bakery workspace, including equipment sanitation and organization.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely production and delivery of products to meet customer demands.
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions about products and offering recommendations when needed.
Experience
- Proven experience in baking, preferably within a bakery or restaurant setting.
- Skilled in cake decorating techniques with an eye for detail and aesthetics.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Experience with food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations in the food industry.
- Familiarity with packaging baked goods for retail or wholesale purposes.
- Previous restaurant or bakery experience is highly desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
