We work closely with all members of the design and construction team including lighting designers, architects, electrical engineers, interior designers, landscape architects, electrical distributors, and electrical contractors.
We are currently seeking a full time Quotations Specialist to join our dynamic and growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible to prepare and provide quotations to our distributor base.
Key responsibilities:
· Prepare and provide accurate and competitive quotes to customers’ bidding projects
· Examine and understand lighting specification
· Ensure all tender documents are received and are correct at time of closing
· Negotiate pricing and product availability with vendors
· Prepare budget quotations for specifiers, end users, distributors, and contractors as requested b by Sales team
· Work with the sales team to make alternate recommendations when required
· Follow-up job closings to identify which distributor and contractor have been awarded the project
· Maintain accurate electronic project files and folders
Qualifications:
· Experience in the Lighting industry is an asset
· Strong mathematical ability
· Excellent organizational skills and time management
· Effective verbal and written communication skills
· Ability to work independently as well as effectively within a team
· Well organized and self-motivated
· Ability to multitask
· Positive attitude
