Registered Massage Therapist
Power Physiotherapy & Massage is looking for a Registered Massage Therapist to join our clinic in Calgary.
Expected start date: July 1, 2026
We are building a clinic where massage therapy is not treated as a side service. Patients come in with pain, tightness, stress, injuries, long work hours, posture issues, and real discomfort. We need a massage therapist who understands that people are not just booking “a massage.” They are coming because they want relief, care, and someone who actually listens.
This position can be part-time, full-time, or flexible, depending on the right person. Whether you are available for 15 hours a week or want a fuller schedule, what matters most is your dedication, patient availability, cleanliness, reliability, and genuine interest in helping people feel better.
We are looking for someone who enjoys massage therapy because they genuinely like the work. Someone who takes pride in the treatment, the room, the patient experience, and the results.
What we offer:
- A professional multidisciplinary clinic environment
- Patient referrals from physiotherapy and other clinic services
- Reception and clinic support
- Booking support and patient scheduling
- Clean treatment rooms and proper clinic setup
- Opportunity to build a steady patient base
- Flexible part-time or full-time availability
- Compensation based on bookings, experience, and agreed structure
Who we are looking for:
- A massage therapist who takes patient care seriously
- Someone dependable, punctual, and consistent
- Someone clean, hygienic, and organized with treatment rooms, linens, oils, tables, and equipment
- Someone who can handle a steady workload without making patients feel rushed
- Someone who communicates properly about pressure, comfort, treatment goals, and after-care
- Someone who treats every patient with patience, respect, and professionalism
- Someone who wants to grow with the clinic, not just pick up random appointments
- Someone who understands that a returning patient comes back because they felt cared for
This role is a good fit if:
You believe massage therapy should provide real relief, not just relaxation for the moment.
You care about the patient’s comfort from start to finish.
You keep your room clean like it represents your name.
You are available when patients need appointments.
You understand that trust is built through consistency, care, and good hands-on work.
You want to be part of a clinic where massage therapy works together with physiotherapy, chiropractic care, psychology, dietitian services, and other patient-focused care.
Main responsibilities:
- Provide professional massage therapy treatments based on patient needs
- Listen carefully to patient concerns before starting treatment
- Adjust pressure and technique based on patient comfort and goals
- Maintain proper treatment notes and documentation
- Keep treatment rooms clean, hygienic, organized, and ready for each patient
- Maintain high standards for linens, oils, equipment, tables, and shared spaces
- Communicate clearly and respectfully with patients and clinic staff
- Support a positive clinic environment where patients feel welcomed and cared for
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team when patient care requires coordination
Requirements:
- Minimum 2,200-hour massage therapy diploma preferred
- Active membership in a recognized massage therapy association
- Active professional liability insurance
- Good standing with your association
- First Aid and CPR certification preferred
- Eligible to work in Canada
- Strong communication skills
- Clean and professional work habits
- Reliable, patient-focused, and serious about care
- Experience is an asset, but genuine care, dependability, and hygiene are equally important
Compensation:
Massage therapy compensation will be based on bookings and the agreed pay structure. Details can be discussed based on experience, availability, and fit.
