ABOUT THE ROLE
· Prepare a wide range of sourdough baked goods, including hearth loaves, pan loaves, rolls, buns, flatbreads, and enriched and specialty loaves
· Maintain and care for our sourdough mother levain
· Follow recipes accurately and meet production schedules
· Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
· Commercial baking experience, with strong sourdough knowledge preferred
· Strong understanding of fermentation, flour, and baking ingredients
· Experience with mixing, dividing, shaping, proofing, scoring, and baking artisan bread
· Familiarity with commercial bakery equipment, including mixers, proofers, ovens, and dough dividers
· Ability to scale recipes to meet production requirements
· Strong time management and organizational skills
· Ability to lift and move up to 23 kg (50 lb)
REQUIREMENTS
· Legally authorized to work in Canada
· Able to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term contract, Seasonal, Internship / Co-op
Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
