Job Summary
As an ABA Therapist, you will work with individuals, typically children, who have autism spectrum disorder or other developmental disabilities. Your primary focus will be implementing behavior intervention plans to help clients develop essential life skills and reduce challenging behaviors.
Responsibilities
- Conduct one-on-one therapy sessions with clients based on their individualized treatment plans
- Implement Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills
- Collect data on client progress and behavior during therapy sessions
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including parents, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals
- Modify treatment plans as needed based on ongoing data collection and analysis
- Provide feedback and support to families on implementing strategies outside of therapy sessions
Requirements
- Experience working with children or in pediatric settings
- Knowledge of ABA principles and techniques
- Ability to collect and analyze data effectively
- Understanding of special education practices
- Familiarity with medical terminology related to developmental disorders
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with clients and their families
- Previous experience in case management or patient care is beneficial
- Interest or experience in research related to developmental disabilities

Pay: $30.00-$34.00 per hour
