New Track Selfcare is an integrative mental health clinic delivering evidence-based care through psychotherapy, psychological services, transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS), psychedelic-assisted therapy, medical services, and complementary wellness treatments.
We believe mental health care works best when providers work together. Our Professional Relations team is responsible for building meaningful relationships with healthcare professionals and community organizations to improve access to care for the individuals they serve.
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced, confident, and highly motivated Outbound Medical & Professional Relations Representative to develop and maintain referral relationships throughout Ontario, with medical professionals and other health care related professionals or professional services in the health care space.
This is not a traditional sales role. Success comes from establishing trust with healthcare professionals, understanding their needs, educating referral partners about our services, and creating long-term collaborative relationships.
You will spend the majority of your time proactively reaching out to physicians, psychologists, psychotherapists, nurse practitioners, occupational therapists, lawyers, insurance professionals, employers, and community organizations through phone calls, email outreach, networking, and in-person meetings.
Responsibilities
Business Development
- Identify prospective referral partners throughout Ontario
- Build and manage a pipeline of healthcare professionals and organizations
- Conduct high-volume outbound phone calls and personalized outreach
- Schedule introductory meetings with healthcare professionals
- Conduct in-person clinic visits and presentations
- Attend networking events, conferences, and community events
- Build relationships that generate sustainable referral activity
Professional Relations
Develop relationships with:
- Family physicians
- Psychiatrists
- Psychologists
- Registered psychotherapists
- Nurse practitioners
- Occupational therapists
- Physiotherapists
- Personal injury lawyers
- Disability case managers
- Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs)
- WSIB stakeholders
- Veterans organizations
- Addiction treatment providers
- Community agencies
- Employers and HR professionals
Education & Outreach
- Educate professionals on New Track Selfcare's services
- Present treatment pathways and referral processes
- Coordinate lunch-and-learn presentations
- Provide educational materials and clinic updates
- Communicate new programs and service offerings
- Represent the clinic professionally in the community
Relationship Management
- Maintain regular follow-up with referral partners
- Track outreach activities in CRM
- Monitor referral trends
- Ensure referral partners receive excellent service
- Identify opportunities for collaboration
Sales & Performance
- Meet monthly outreach targets
- Meet appointment-setting goals
- Meet referral generation objectives
- Maintain an organized sales pipeline
- Prepare weekly activity reports
Qualifications
Required
- 2+ years of experience in business development, healthcare sales, pharmaceutical sales, or professional relationship management
- Exceptional communication skills
- Comfortable making outbound calls every day
- Strong presentation skills
- Excellent organizational abilities
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented
- Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle

Compensation
Compensation will be commensurate with experience, demonstrated success in healthcare or professional business development, and the ability to build sustainable referral partnerships. This role includes a performance-based bonus structure designed to recognize exceptional results
