Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Painter/Labourer to join our dynamic electrostatic team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with various painting projects and general labour tasks across residential, commercial, and industrial sites. Duties
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, filling, and masking to ensure optimal results
- Apply paint, primer as per scope of work
- Assist with rigging and setting up scaffolding or ladders safely for elevated work
- Manage time effectively to meet project deadlines while maintaining high-quality workmanship
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools, disposing of waste properly, and adhering to safety protocols
Qualifications
- Previous painting experience or familiarity with building sites preferred
- Skilled in using hand tools such as brushes, rollers, scrapers, and various sanding experience with power tools is a plus
- Basic understanding of rigging, scaffolding setup, and safety procedures on construction sites
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-moving environment
- Physical ability to stand, lift heavy materials, climb ladders or scaffolds, and perform manual labour throughout the workday
