North Island College is seeking a Foundation Skills for Trades (FSK) Instructor to develop and deliver an FSK 030 course. The Instructor must have the ability to develop curricula specific to Electrical math applications and technical communications to meet minimum program prerequisites. This course will be part of the Technical Readiness Pathway for an International Electrical Foundation program, and as such, will require Electrical specific technical language and math expertise.
The teaching faculty of North Island College are responsible for implementing the College’s vision, goals, and objectives as they relate to teaching and learning. To carry out their teaching assignments, faculty use organizational skills, inter-personal skills, and their knowledge of subject matter, pedagogy, and curricular design. In addition, they have a responsibility to serve as role models for students and colleagues.
