Job Summary
We’re looking for a strategic, creative, and insights-driven Online Marketing Strategist to develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing campaigns that drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and sales growth for small and medium businesses.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, SEO best practices, and data analytics to optimize marketing efforts across multiple channels. This role is hands-on and fast-paced. You thrive under pressure, juggling multiple priorities and deadlines with ease. You’re a self-starter who brings fresh, engaging ideas to the table while staying aligned with each client’s unique goals and objectives.
Excellent client service is also very important. Bilingualism (English/ French) is an asset.
Duties
- Develop and implement strategic online marketing plans tailored to target audiences across various digital channels.
- Manage and optimize e-commerce platforms, ensuring seamless user experience and conversion rate improvements.
- Conduct keyword research and SEO audits to enhance organic search visibility and ranking.
- Create compelling visual content using Canva, Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Creative Suite for social media, email campaigns, and website updates.
- Design, update, and maintain websites.
- Manage paid advertising campaigns through Google Ads, Facebook Advertising, and Google Analytics to maximize ROI.
- Monitor website traffic, campaign performance, and user behavior with Google Analytics and other analytics tools; generate reports for continuous improvement.
- Execute email marketing campaigns utilizing best practices for segmentation, personalization, and automation.
- Collaborate with a variety of small business clients and build solid relationships with them.
- Stay current with the latest trends in digital marketing, e-commerce, and emerging technologies to recommend innovative solutions.
Requirements
- Proven experience in digital marketing.
- Strong knowledge of SEO techniques, keyword research, and Google Analytics.
- Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Photoshop, or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Hands-on experience with Google Ads, Facebook Advertising, and Google Analytics.
- Familiarity with SQL for data analysis and campaign tracking purposes.
- Skills in graphic design for creating engaging visual content across multiple formats.
- Experience in email marketing platforms and automation tools.
- Ability to analyze data effectively to inform strategic decisions.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams effectively.
