About the role
Argyn Auto provides independent pre-purchase vehicle inspections across the Greater Toronto Area. We have a steady flow of clients and are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented inspector to perform on-site inspections and deliver clear, honest reports that help buyers make confident decisions.
Compensation
$70 per hour, paid as an independent contractor. Steady flow of clients across the GTA, with strong earning potential for the right person. Flexible schedule: take as many jobs as you want.
What you'll do
- Travel to the vehicle's location (dealership, driveway, seller's address) across the GTA
- Perform a thorough pre-purchase inspection: engine, transmission, suspension, brakes, electronics, body and paint
- Run OBD diagnostics and check for prior accident or paint work
- Document findings with photos and deliver a clear written report to the client
Requirements
- Solid hands-on automotive experience (dealership, independent shop, or mobile mechanic)
- Own reliable vehicle to travel to inspection sites (required)
- Own basic tools, OBD scanner, and paint depth gauge (an asset)
- Ability to explain findings clearly to customers in plain language
- Reliable, punctual, and honest
- 310S license is a strong asset but not required if you have proven inspection experience
