Tlex Auto Service is a busy, independent repair shop with a reputation for honesty, precision, and top-tier service. While we handle all makes and models, we specialize heavily in Japanese vehicles. We take pride in our work and are looking to invest in a motivated Apprentice Mechanic who wants to learn the trade the right way, work alongside experienced technicians, and grow their career.
What You’ll Do -
- Assist licensed technicians with complex diagnostics, mechanical repairs, and electrical troubleshooting.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks independently (oil changes, tire rotations, brake jobs, fluid flushes).
- Keep a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
- Correctly document work orders and inspection findings.
- Continuously learn and adapt to modern vehicle technology, specializing in Japanese import platforms.
What We’re Looking For -
Experience: Registered Apprentice (all levels welcome to apply) or a recent graduate from a Motive Power program.
Specialty Interest: A strong interest or background in Japanese imports (Lexus/Toyota, Honda/Acura, Subaru, etc.) is a major asset.
Tools: Possession of basic hand tools and a commitment to building your own kit.
Traits: A strong work ethic, attention to detail, reliability, and a desire to learn from seasoned mechanics.
License: Valid Driver’s License with a clean abstract.

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
