Our locally owned and operated IGA in Lake Country/Winfield is looking for an experienced and motivated Deli Manager to lead our deli department.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and train the deli team
- Deliver outstanding customer service and create a positive shopping experience
- Manage ordering, inventory control, and merchandising
- Meet department sales and gross profit targets
- Prepare salads, sandwiches, and soups
- Slice meats and cheeses
- Price and stock merchandise
- Ensure all Food Safe standards and food-handling procedures are followed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Qualifications
- Previous deli, food service, or grocery management experience preferred
- Strong leadership and team-building skills
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
- Ability to work in a hands-on role and lead by example
- Strong organizational and inventory management skills
- Food Safe Level 1 certification required
