We are looking for dependable, detail-oriented individuals to join our production team. This is a hands-on manufacturing position where you'll help build high-quality custom drapery hardware and window covering products in a clean, organized production environment.
No previous industry experience is required—we provide full training for motivated individuals who are eager to learn and build a long-term career.
Position Summary
As a Production Assembler, you will manufacture custom drapery hardware and window covering products using a variety of materials, machinery, and hand tools. Every order is custom-made, making accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail essential to your success.
Working as part of our production team, you will assemble products to precise specifications, inspect your work for quality, and prepare completed orders for shipment to customers throughout North America.
Responsibilities
- Assemble custom drapery hardware and window covering products according to work orders and production specifications.
- Measure, cut, assemble, and package products using aluminum, steel, wood, plastic, fabric, and other materials.
- Safely operate production equipment, including cutting machines, presses, saws, staplers, and other assembly tools.
- Inspect completed products to ensure they meet company quality standards for appearance, dimensions, and functionality.
- Identify and report production defects or quality concerns and assist in correcting issues when required.
- Prepare completed products for packaging and shipment.
- Assist with receiving materials, inventory replenishment, shipping, receiving, and general production support.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures while operating equipment.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production targets and customer deadlines.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining high standards of quality and productivity.
Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing, assembly, production, construction, or warehouse experience is an asset but not required.
- Comfortable working with hand tools, power tools, and production machinery.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Ability to accurately read measurements and perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Good manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn new manufacturing processes.
- Reliable transportation to and from our Woodbridge facility.
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent is considered an asset.
Physical Requirements
This position requires the ability to:
- Stand and walk for extended periods.
- Lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lb (23 kg).
- Perform repetitive assembly tasks using hands and arms.
- Bend, reach, twist, and kneel throughout the workday.
- Safely operate manufacturing equipment while following established procedures.
Schedule
Monday to Friday
9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Occasional overtime may be available during busy production periods.
Compensation
Starting wage: $21.00 per hour
