The position is specific to Wood 9/10 (2 Blocks) and 1 Wood 11/12 (1 Block) in semester 1. Teacher responsible for the Youth Train in Trades program in Semester 2. Red seal certification and BC Teaching Certification required. Previous teaching experience in a secondary school Carpentry program is an asset. Responsibilities include delivering engaging lessons, supervising hands-on practical sessions, and preparing students for industry certifications. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

A Bachelor of Education degree (Technology or Industrial Education concentration) or equivalent training

Industrial education courses equal to 33 units which are relevant to prescribed curriculum including appropriate teaching methodology courses for the assignment

Appropriate journeyman's status or equivalent (if CPP)

Or equivalent training, or experience
